Cookie policy

fare.work uses technical cookies, needed to keep you signed in and to remember your choices. Only with your consent it also uses Google tools to count visits and for advertising. Until you say yes these tools are not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. The Italian version is the binding one.

1. Technical cookies

They are needed for the website to work and require no consent.

None of these cookies identifies you on other websites or builds a profile.

  • Session cookie (name starting with “authjs”): set when you sign in to your customer area or to the administration, it keeps you signed in. It lasts at most 30 days and is removed when you sign out.
  • Sign-in protection cookies (also “authjs”): they stop the sign-in form from being used by another website. They last for the sign-in only.
  • “lang” cookie: remembers the language you chose with the flags, Italian or English. It lasts one year.
  • “consent” cookie: remembers the choice you made in the cookie box, so we do not ask on every page. It lasts six months.

2. Visit measurement, only with your consent

We use it to understand which pages are useful and which are not. We see aggregate numbers, not who you are.

  • Google Analytics 4, by Google Ireland Ltd: counts how many people visit the website, which pages they look at and where they come from. It uses the “_ga” and “_ga_…” cookies, which last up to two years.

3. Advertising, only with your consent

Google may also process this data in the United States, relying on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Its rules are at policies.google.com.

  • Google Ads, by Google Ireland Ltd: tells us whether a booking or a message comes from one of our ads, and lets us show our ads to people who have already visited the website. It uses the “_gcl_au” cookie, which lasts 90 days, and Google's advertising identifiers.

4. Third-party services

There are no social network pixels.

  • Stripe: when you pay online you are taken to a page on stripe.com, which uses its own cookies for payment security. Stripe's rules apply (stripe.com/privacy).
  • Google Maps: the map on the “Where we are” page loads only after you click. If you open it, Google may set its own cookies under its rules (policies.google.com). If you do not, nothing happens.

5. How to change your choice

In the box shown on your first visit you can accept, decline or choose item by item. Declining changes nothing in how the website works. Until you choose, it counts as no consent.

You can change your mind at any time from “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw consent we remove Google's cookies and reload the page without their tools.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block session cookies you will not be able to sign in to your customer area; if you delete “lang” the website goes back to your browser's language.

6. Controller and rights

The controller is Crosta Mirko, hi@fare.work. For everything else, including your rights, the privacy policy published on the website applies.
